About Hive Rank

Hive Rank exists so you can sell to AI agents — crowdsourced visibility into the coding agents that buy on your customers' behalf.

Every user who opts into the hive contributes anonymized search data — queries, URLs, positions, and titles from their real searches. This data is aggregated into a shared ranking dataset that benefits everyone in the network.

Why We Built This

AI agents are the buyers of the future. When someone asks Claude "what's the best project management tool?", Claude searches, reads, picks, and often installs — and the human never sees a search results page. The purchase decision happened inside the agent.

Traditional SEO tools like Ahrefs and Semrush monitor Google's SERP on a schedule. They don't know what AI agents actually see when they search in real time. Hive Rank does — because contributors are inside the search as it happens.

We wanted to build the tool we wished existed: free, private, community-powered agent visibility — so you know whether the agents are buying you or your competitor.

How The Network Works

1. Install. Run npx hive-rank to add the MCP server to your agent. Works with Claude Code, OpenCode, and Codex CLI.

2. Search normally. When your AI agent uses web search, the hooks automatically capture and anonymize the search results — queries, URLs, positions, and titles.

3. Data flows to the hive. Anonymized observations are sent to the shared network. Your identity is a one-way hash — we can't identify you.

4. Everyone benefits. Query the network for rankings, trends, domain intelligence, and Hive Scores computed from all contributors' data.
